Since 1981 we have been based in beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark, and our label factory is located in Germany.

In 2019, we changed our name from Scannex to dodofy in order to reflect our new, international customer base.

How are your labels produced?

While other businesses in the industry may focus on quantity, dodofy always puts quality first. Our factory in Germany is the only place we make our high-quality labels; we never outsource. We even use our old-fashioned Jacquard looms for our cotton label products, giving you the high-quality labels you desire and have come to expect from dodofy. Our high quality is something that we will never sacrifice or compromise.

We take pride in our products and give each order the personal attention and care it deserves. You’ll find only the highest-quality raw materials in our labels, and all our eco-friendly fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified. This means that every product has been tested for harmful substances and held up to the most rigorous standards. Our labels can be worn in direct contact with even the most sensitive skin without fear of rashes or allergic reactions.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! We ship from our label factory in Germany to virtually any country worldwide using DHL Deutsche Post. We estimate that no matter where you are in the world, you can expect to receive your labels within 14 working days from the day we receive your order. For some destinations, however, you can expect a longer delivery time.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost only €4,95 regardless of order size, value, or delivery country. All orders are shipped as Priority Mail via DHL Deutsche Post with delivery confirmation (trackable).

The price is automatically calculated at checkout, as the final cost varies depending on your choice of currency.

We offer free shipping on all orders over €50.

When will my order arrive?

We estimate that no matter where you are in the world, you can expect to receive your labels within 14 working days from the day we receive your order. For some destinations, however, you can expect a longer delivery time.

All orders are shipped from our label factory in Germany. We need 6-9 working days to produce your order and the shipping time depends on your final destination.

Do I have to be home to receive the shipment?

The delivery doesn’t require a signature. It will be left in your mailbox if it’s safe to do so. If that’s not the case, your shipment will be prepared for delivery in a nearby delivery depot, ParcelShop, or retail outlet, or attempt to deliver another day.

So please keep an eye on the tracking information.

Why are some items shipped separately?

If your order contains a mix of labels, you may receive some items separately as we ship as soon as the labels are ready after production.

Why was my order returned to you?

Orders are most often sent back to us because the address was missing an apartment, suite, or floor number. Other missing information and typos can cause a return as well.

If you receive a notification that your package is being returned, please contact us, and we will address it accordingly.

I have placed my order - what's Next?

Once your order is placed, we send information about your order by email. If you have multiple items on your order, you may receive additional emails for each item.

Order confirmation
The order confirmation email provides a summary of the items in your order. The order confirmation will display the delivery address, and the delivery date is always approximate 14 working days from the day we received your order.

Design draft
If you have ordered our Logo Labels or Flex labels, we’ll contact you by email with a design draft for your approval. When approved, your order is handed over to our production team.

Shipment Notification
We’ll send a shipment notification email when the item leaves our factory. This email includes the tracking number. You can track your shipment via dodofy.com/order-status or your local postal service in your country.

If you purchase an electronic Dodofy Gift Card, we’ll send you an email notification once we send the gift card to you or the recipient.

How can I see my Order Status?

You will be emailed tracking information when your order leaves our facility. When ordering our Easy Labels, you can look up your order with your order number and email address, track shipments, and see the latest order status.

How do I place a reorder?

Reordering our products is not available, but we are working on adding this functionality. Please follow the step below:

Reordering Logo Labels
  1. First, go to the Logo Label product page.
  2. Choose Quantity.
  3. Choose Label width as the original.
  4. Choose the label color.
  5. Choose the text color.
  6. Choose the binding option.
  7. Choose “Artwork” – select “You have my artwork” and add the reorder number received from us when you ordered the first time.
  8. Finally, click the Add to cart button.

We will use your logo or artwork graphic by using the reorder number. But please fill free to change colors and binding options.

If you choose a different label width (10 mm., 15 mm., or 25 mm.) from the original, we can’t guarantee that we can use the same graphics. A new setup may be required.

Reordering Easy Labels
  1. First, go to the Easy Label product page.
  2. Choose design template.
  3. Choose the label color.
  4. Choose the text color.
  5. Choose Symbol if needed.
  6. Choose the binding option.
  7. Finally, choose quantity and click the Add to cart button.

We recommend that you find your previous e-mail order confirmation that you have received from us and where all the parameters are listed.

Can I see a draft before ordering?

You would need to place your order before we start working on your project. Below, detailed information is available based on the type of label you are ordering.

Ordering Easy Labels

When ordering our Easy Labels, you use our online label design tool, which allows you to see what to expect in our preview for your final approval.

Your order is automatically sent to our production queue and begins production. Since fast turnaround is a priority for most customers, we aggressively automated our manufacturing process so that we can begin producing your Easy Labels within minutes.

Ordering Logo Labels

When ordering our Logo Labels, you will receive a digital draft by email for your approval. Changes will be made to your draft for free until you’re happy. You can cancel your order at any time before approval at no charge.

When approved, your order is automatically sent to our production queue and begins production. Since fast turnaround is a priority for most customers, we aggressively automated our manufacturing process so that we can begin producing your Logo Labels within minutes.

Ordering other labels

For all other labels or products, no prior approval is required or available.

When reordering, do I need to approve a new draft?

No, reordering our Logo Labels skips our draft approval process and goes directly into our production queue.

Keep in mind; that if you change the label width from the original and we assess that it does not work, we will get in touch with you.

We do not accept PayPal due to the massive negative publicity from PayPal account holders and businesses using Paypal, we have removed PayPal as one of our payment methods.

Why was my credit card declined?

Declines can happen for a variety of reasons. When we submit a charge to your bank, their automated systems determine whether or not to accept the charge. These systems take various signals into accounts, such as your spending habits, account balance, and purchase size.

Since these signals are constantly changing, a previously successful card might be declined in the future. Even if all of the card information is correct, and you previously had a successful payment using your card, a future charge can still be declined by a bank’s overzealous fraud systems.

Can you tell me why my card was declined?

We only know as much as your bank tells us about the reason for a decline. Unfortunately, in most cases, the bank informs us that the card was declined and didn’t give a specific reason.

What should I do if my card is declined?

If all of the card information seems correct, it is best to contact your bank and ask for the charge to be accepted. They should be able to see the attempted charge, provide a reason for the decline and lift whatever restriction is preventing your purchase.

Alternatively, please get in touch with us, and we will share our bank details so you can make a bank transfer.

Do you charge VAT or sales tax?

It depends on the country’s shipping address.

Deliveries within the European Union (EU)
Local VAT is charged for delivery to all countries in the European Union unless you are a EU business customer with a valid EU VAT number which can be entered at checkout.

Deliveries outside the European Union (EU)
No VAT or Sales Tax is charged for delivery to countries outside the European Union.

Geolocation technology
We are using Geolocation technology to determine which country you are coming from.

If we can detect where you are coming from, we can show you the correct prices, incl. VAT. If not, or you want your order delivered to another country, the price is automatically calculated at checkout.

Do you offer VAT exemption for EU businesses?

Yes! You can enter your VAT no at checkout for all business customers within the EU (excl., Denmark).

Can I get a quote?

Our website displays quantity discounts which you can take advantage of. There are no additional charges beyond what we display during the ordering process, aside from VAT (if required) and shipping.

But please fill free to get in touch with us anytime if you have any doubt or need a larger quantity.

Have a problem with your order?

Returns made easy! Send us a photo, and we’ll address it. Physical returns are usually not required.

What is your return policy?

We fundamentally believe you will be thrilled with the labels you purchase from us. That’s because we go out of our way to ensure that they’re designed and woven to be just what you need.

We understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we invite you to review the following terms related to returning a product from Dodofy. 

  1. You need to contact us within 14 days of delivery of any defects.
  2. We require you to submit a photo that indicates the problem.
  3. We may request that you return 100% of a defective order before reproducing your order.
  4. We will pay for postal if a return is required.
  5. We will reproduce or refund your order within 8 business days if we verify that we made errors.
  6. We will use the original production time and shipping method when reproducing an order.
  7. Color deviations can’t be avoided as this is impossible due to individual display settings.
  8. We do not allow returns for reasons unrelated to the quality of custom-made products. But please get in touch with us anyway. 
  9. All sales are final.

Can I return my order if I do not like it?

If there is a problem with your order, contact us and attach a photo that indicates the problem and we will address it accordingly. Quality issues are rare, but they happen on occasion and we strive to address them as fast as possible.

Since every order is 100% custom, we do not allow returns for reasons unrelated to quality. For example, we cannot refund or reproduce your order if you decide you do not want your order, ordered the wrong size, or would prefer a different product.

What is your satisfaction guarantee?

Simple! If there’s a quality problem with your labels, we will replace any defective labels for free. Please contact us, and we will address it accordingly.

User Instructions

What are your ironing instructions?

Please follow the instructions below if you have ordered our Iron-on Cotton Clothing Labels.

Use only on material suitable for ironing. The material should be pre-washed. Observe care label instructions on synthetic or delicate materials.

The ironing method

  • Set your iron to the cotton (•••) setting or to approximately 200°.
  • Apply firm downward pressure on the iron–approximately 200g/cm2 (3 lbs/in2).
  • Press down with as much strength as possible
  • Maintain pressure for at least 10 seconds.

Sensitive fabric materials

With sensitive materials, place a damp cloth between the iron and label to protect the material. In this case, maintain intense pressure for 20 seconds.

Ribbed material

When applying to ribbed material, place the label in the same direction as the ribbing. Follow the above instructions, and leave to cool completely.

If labels come off

We supply extra labels in each order. The extra labels are for testing purposes. If a label should ever come off, it can be reused. Just follow the above ironing instructions to reattach.

Sewing in the label

Our Iron-On labels can also be sewn on by hand or by using a sewing machine.

What are your sewing instructions?

If you prefer, you can also choose to sew your labels into the garments – even if you have ordered iron-on labels. In this case, we recommend that you fix the label in position with a hot iron before sewing the ends into your clothing.

Our woven labels can be sewn on by hand or by using a sewing machine
Always use sharp scissors to cut the labels, and please note that we add 0,8 mm (0,032 inc) to each end of the label, so you can fold the label and make an excellent result.

We supply extra labels in each order. The extra labels are for testing purposes.

What are your washing instructions?

Any regular washing or dry cleaning agent is suitable.

How do I use your Label Pins?

Attaching labels to your clothing doesn’t have to be a hassle. If you don’t want to deal with folding, sewing, ironing, and trimming your labels, use our patented binding product, Label Pins, which allows you to attach your labels in seconds.

Our Label Pins is an innovative and simple solution for label attachment. The simple pin and cap design allows you to securely fasten the garment’s label in seconds.

Here’s how it works

  1. Align your label properly in your garment.
  2. Separate the pin and cap of one unit.
  3. Press the pin into one end of the label until you puncture both label and fabric.
  4. Place the cap on the reverse side of the fabric, securing the label to the garment.
  5. Easily break off any protruding part of the pin with your fingers for comfort and safety.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to secure the other end of the label.

Our Label Pins can be added to any label to make attachment fast and easy. It works on any fabric of any thickness. And you can easily lift and move your label before placing the back piece of the label attachment.
